Who I Am

I’m Rohith, a final-year Electronics and Communication Engineering student at Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad.

I’ve always enjoyed hardware, Linux, and understanding how computers work beneath the software we use every day. During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to intern at a startup building production voice AI systems.

I was responsible for the embedded side of the product, building it from scratch and taking it through five successful pilot deployments. It was my first time working on a real product alongside experienced engineers, and I learned far more than I expected simply by being around people who had already solved problems I hadn’t even thought about yet.

Where I’m Headed

I’m working towards a career in computer architecture and processor design.

The projects I enjoy the most are usually the ones where lots of different pieces have to come together. Understanding individual components is interesting, but watching everything finally work together as a complete system never gets old.

That’s the kind of engineering I hope to spend my career doing.

Elsewhere

Outside of engineering, you’ll usually find me listening to metal, cooking, or learning about clouds.

Opeth has probably been the soundtrack to more of my projects than I’d like to admit.

I’ve recently started learning about clouds. They’re still a bit over my head.

Hail Quorthon.
